BEST Dairy Free Keto Snacks on Amazon
As someone who is highly sensitive to gluten, dairy, and carbs…sometimes my options can feel quite limited when it comes to everyday grab and go snacks that cater to my dietary needs. I know I’m not alone on this — there HAS to be others who are dairy free keto and are on the hunt for the best keto snacks without dairy.
Now, with a little research and planning there are actually a ton of options available that are flavorful, with a variety of textures. I often look for crunchy or salty in my low-carb dairy-free snacks.
Lastly, before I dive into this list: I advocate for clean eating whenever possible. Meaning, when something is overly processed with chemicals in it that’s questionable…I steer clear of it. On this snack list, you’ll only find products that are high quality, free of highly processed ingredients.
While there are a ton of keto snack options, not all of them are aligned with the goal of being healthier. For me, keto is a lifestyle. Not some quick weight loss gimmick. Sure, weight loss is often the result of consistent keto, but the key is consistency. Sustainability for the win!
Dairy Free Keto Snacks
OLOVES
This 24 pack of well seasoned, little olive pouches just keeps on giving. I feel like my stash of these have lasted since I don’t eat these every day. The variety of the 4 different flavors is so important to me. Different flavors can really make the difference in keeping a keto lifestyle interesting and not boring. Also — a great plant based keto snack.
EPIC Uncured Bacon Protein Bars
By far, this is one of my favorite non-dairy keto snack ideas that can easily travel with me in my purse. Not only that, but the protein in this is helpful in sustaining you throughout the day. Their bacon protein bar is my go-to…but EPIC has a whole collection of meats if there’s another that calls to you.
EPIC Variety Pack
This paleo friendly variety pack keto snack kit gives you a sampling of most (if not all?) of their protein bars. All the flavors. All keto. All dairy free. This is a great option if you’d like to learn which snacks you’d like to buy more of from EPIC. It’s less commitment to try one of each vs. getting a 10 pack of something you don’t like. Especially since food on Amazon is not returnable.
4505 Chicharrones, Fried Pork Rinds
That crunchy texture is essential for me in my life on a regular basis. Most of the readily available crunchy foods that you’ll find are potato chips, crackers, or fried foods…all of which are high in carbs or high on the glycemic index. Not these! You get zero carbs with ALL the crunch. I like to dip these in Bitchin Sauce, which I’ll go into next.
Bitchin’ Sauce
A good sauce, dip, or dressing really makes a meal. The creaminess of this sauce comes from almonds, making this dairy free and vegan! Dip the pork rinds in this or your favorite crunchy veggies for a snack that’s super filling and super nutritional.
Chomps and Chomplings
Another easy grab and go meat stick option. I really love that chomps are committed to using grass fed bee. Sustainably sourced meat means higher quality and more ethical practices. I find that if I’m eating these on a regular basis, ordering in bulk like this is a much better price option than buying these individually at the store.
GIMME Roasted Seaweed Snacks
Returning back to the topic of ‘crunch’, this dairy free keto snack gives all the crunch. It’s not something that’s really filling, but it gives you that salty crunch without the carbs. Also, seaweed is a great source of iodine. Bonus, if you like making miso soup at home (also zero carb) — you can add this to your soup.
Flackers, Cinnamon and Currants
Okay. YUM. I’ve always had a hard time getting into the other flavors that Flackers has to offer, but this one has just enough ‘sweet’ to it between the cinnamon and currant to capture my taste buds.
Flackers = flax seed + crackers. Since flax seed is so high in fiber, you subtract the fiber from total carbs to get your net carbs. These only have 6 grams of net carbs per serving. I love to pair this with a cashew cheese, which I’ll go into next!
Treeline Cashew Cheese, Assortment
I love me some cashew cheese! It’s so good on the Flackers, on salami or pepperoni, or on cucumbers. Treeline does not disappoint with their variety pack. Even their cashew ricotta is so good on keto crackers. Try all of their offerings to find your favorite!
Dry Roasted Edamame, Wasabi
Edamame is technically a legume (or a bean) and typically beans are a big no-no on keto due to the high carb content. However, edamame is one that’s high in fiber, low in carb, making this keto friendly. Seapoint Farms has a salted version of these as well, but I personally love the wasabi for an extra flavor or ‘kick’ to my tastebuds. Flavor is so important with keto, in my opinion.
Crunchy Roasted Edamame
One of my friends had these on hand for their toddler one day. Initially, I almost said ‘no’ when she offered me some as most snacks are high in carb. After looking at the packaging and also knowing that edamame is keto friendly, I was excited to try these. And wow! These are so good. There is some sugar in the ingredients, but it seems to be fairly low based on the amount of net carbs in this.
Popped Sorghum
There’s conflicting opinions on whether popped sorghum is keto friendly. I would say, listen to how your body feels when you eat it. If you measure ketones, also pay attention to how eating this impacts your ketone levels.
When you look at the serving size in one package of Nate’s Popped Sorghum, it’s 6 grams of net carbs. I would say if you eat the whole package, you might end up throwing off your keto diet. So moderation is key here.
MunkPack Nut & Seed Bar
I discovered MunkPack bars recently and basically inhaled the whole box within a week of their arrival. SO GOOD. Not only are these dairy free and keto…they’re gluten free! It’s very rare that I can find a dessert type of snack that’s all 3 of these things.
Most sweetener alternatives that are low carb give me headaches, gut symptoms, etc. but everything they make, they sweeten with allulose which is naturally derived from either corn, kiwi’s, dates, or figs.
Check out all of their offerings at the Munk Pack Store on Amazon.
Brooklyn Biltong
Super simple ingredients in this beef jerky: beef, vinegar, salt. Another great grab and go option that’s high protein, low carb, and sustainably sourced.
Naturanic Chocolate Covered Nuts, Assorted
There’s a mix of brazil nuts and cashews in this chocolate covered snack pack. Once again, it’s so hard to find something that’s a little ‘sweet’ on keto that isn’t filled with all sorts of junk to make it taste sweet. There’s zero net carbs in this!
How to Overcome Cravings on Keto
While I rely heavily on my keto meal prep routine during the week, having that snack stash is essential if I’m going to stay on track with my keto lifestyle. Honestly, it can be the difference between dipping my hands 'in the cookie jar’ vs. clean eating, if you know what I mean.
Replacement therapy has worked really well for me when it comes to cravings. I believe that cold turkey can work for some people, but it’s so much more sustainable when you redirect a craving into a better-for-you option.
How To Navigate Parties & Gatherings on Keto
Staying on track with keto can be so much easier when you are not exposed to things that might trigger cravings. This might be easier when you’re at home (unless your family/roommates/partner keep non-keto goods in the fridge and pantry). Regardless, we can’t stay home forever! One day we’ll end up at a party and there’s going to be things in front of our face that LOOK good, but is counterproductive to our goal. Or worse, trigger an allergic response and trigger health conditions.
The snack table at a party can vary, depending on the host. Now, I have a lot of friends who are vegan or vegetarian. I’ve been a keto eater since 2017, so most of my friends are very aware of my dietary needs. Never expected, but always appreciated. Here’s where the snack stash comes handy. Having some grab and go items readily available in your bag will help sustain you through the night while you say — ‘no thank you’ to the cakes, cookies, chips, and beer.
There are some great plant based keto snacks that can be found at a snack table too — nuts, edamame, veggies and non-dairy/vegan dip, nut based cheeses, guacamole, and more.
I’ve had vegan friends ask me for non-dairy keto snack ideas and this short list can be helpful in this instance. Vegan snack ideas for the win!
Dairy Free Keto Recipes
I share dairy free keto recipes over on TikTok. I’d like to invite you to give me a follow. I post new recipes on a regular basis. These are meals that I’ve planned and put together over the span of many years. It’s taken a lot of thought to find meals that are flavorful and are fitting for meal prep to eat all week (or 4-5 days straight).
I hope this article is helpful in navigating a dairy free keto lifestyle. Enjoy your healthy dairy-free keto bites!
